Two people have been rushed to hospital after a two car smash in Chadderton
Four passengers were also treated at the scene.
Police first shut off Whitegate Lane in Chadderton, at around 5pm this evening, January 24.
It is closed off by the junction of Selkirk Road.

Fire crews from the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service were also on scene following the smash.
Four people had to be treated by specialist trauma equipment at the scene.
Two others were taken to hospital by ambulance.
An eyewitness described the bonnet and front of one of the vehicles to be 'an absolute mess'.
Pictures from the scene show a silver Audi convertible on a tow truck to be transported away from the scene.
Fire crews had left the scene when the pictures were taken.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “Just after 5pm this evening (Monday 24th January), two fire engines from Hollins and Chadderton fire station along with the Technical Response Unit from Ashton were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Whitegate Lane, Chadderton.”
“The crews arrived quickly at scene and worked to make the vehicles and area safe. Four people received treatment at the scene from firefighters using specialist trauma equipment. Two people were taken to hospital.”
“Firefighters were in attendance for around an hour.”
