Two people have been rushed to hospital following a horror smash near Knockhill Racing Circuit.
Emergency services raced to the junction of the B914 and A823 in Fife on Monday, following reports of a two-car crash.
Two casualties were taken to hospital for treatment following the collision. Their condition is unknown.
One of the cars has been left in a wreck from the smash. The front end of the dark-coloured motor is completely caved in.
Debris lies across the junction, with the car's bonnet - bearing a green 'just passed' P plate - bent out of shape. Both front airbags were deployed in the collision.
The junction was shut for a time to allow officers to clear the road. It has since re-opened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said : "We received a report of a crash involving two vehicles at the junction of the B914 and A823. Two people were taken to hospital and the road has re-opened."
