Two people have died on Northern Territory roads overnight after two separate fatal crashes in the Top End.

NT Police report that about 9.20pm yesterday, a motorcycle and car collided on McMillans Road in Jingili, near the intersection with the Darwin General Cemetery access road.

Police, firefighters and paramedics attended, but the 26-year-old male motorcyclist died at the scene.

No one in the car was injured.

NT Police Watch Commander Riva Zio warned motorists to expect some traffic disruptions in the area today as officers conduct investigations at the site.

Police also report that at 8.50pm yesterday, they received a report of a single vehicle rollover on Fog Bay road, near Dundee Beach.

Emergency services attended but the 20-year-old male driver died at the scene.

Both crashes are being investigated by the Major Crash Unit.

Watch Commander Zio said police did not yet know the cause of either crash.

"The investigations are early in the piece, so that's yet to be determined," he said.

Any witnesses to either incident are being urged to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The fatalities take the NT road toll so far this year to 11 – seven more than the same time last year.
