Two people have died following a multi-vehicle crash in Co. Sligo on Sunday evening.
Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene on the N15 in Rathcormack, Co. Sligo at around 5:20 pm on June 5.
According to officers, three cars were involved in the horrific accident that resulted in the death of two men.

It is understood that one was the driver and the other a passenger of the same vehicle, and both remain at the scene at this time.
The N15 is currently closed between Sligo town and Drumcliffe while Garda Forensic Collision Investigators conduct a technical examination of the scene.
Drivers are warned that the road will remain shut to traffic overnight and that local diversions are in place.
Gardaí in Sligo are appealing to any person who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash cam) of the Rathcormack area between 5:00 pm and 5.30 pm are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.

A statement released this evening stated: “Gardaí are currently at the scene of a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the N15 in Rathcormack, Co. Sligo this afternoon, Sunday 5th June 2022 at approximately 5.20pm.
“Three cars were involved in the collision. Two males, the driver and passenger of one vehicle, were fatally injured during the collision. The bodies of both males remain at the scene.
“Emergency services are also at the scene. The N15 is currently closed between Sligo town and Drumcliffe while Garda Forensic Collision Investigators conduct a technical examination of the scene. The road will remain closed overnight. Local diversions are in place.”
