Two people have been arrested after allegedly burglarising and causing criminal damage to The North Face shop on Grafton Street in Dublin.
A man and a woman were arrested and have been charged in relation to the incident that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Gardaí said that the pair were caught after a follow-up search in the area revealed the property stolen from the premises.
Speaking to The Journal, store manager Zana Zhang explained that the incident which occurred this week is the fourth instance of a burglary at the store, with the previous robberies all resulting in stock being stolen, something which has caused extreme distress for the staff and for her.

Speaking to the publication, the store manager explained that there are a lot of break-ins along the busy shopping street and that a larger Garda presence is necessary.
"This is crazy, we’ve been hit four times. I have spoken to my area manager in the UK this morning and they are trying to decide what to do," Zhang explained
"This is an important shopping high street in Ireland and there are a lot of break-ins, other shop managers are asking each other what is going on here, we need more Gardaí."
In a statement to the Irish Mirror, Gardaí said: "Gardaí are investigating a burglary and criminal damage which occurred at a retail premises on Grafton Street, in the early hours of Wednesday morning, February 22 2023.
"In a follow-up search of the area, Gardaí stopped a man and woman in relation to the burglary and seized property stolen from the premises. Both the man, aged in his early 30s and the female, aged in her 20s were arrested and conveyed to Pearse Street Garda station.
"Both have since been charged in relation to the burglary and investigations are ongoing."
