Two of Westmeath's greatest ever players are reportedly set to take the reins of the county senior footballers.
Former Lake county attacker Dessie Dolan is believed to be in position to be ratified by the county board tonight as manager and John Keane will serve as coach.
The pair were members of the 2004 Leinster winning side under Paidi O Se and have both been involved in recent seasons under manager Jack Cooney.

Dolan, an All Star in 2004, has been selector to the county senior team while Westmeath's only ever two-time All Star John Keane served under Cooney's management as a coach.
The Westmeath Examiner reports that the appointment will be rubber-stamped at a county board meeting tonight (Wednesday) at the Bloomfield House Hotel, Mullingar.
Anthony Cunningham, who managed Dolan and Garrycastle to the 2011 Leinster club title, had been linked with the job but the duo involved in the Tailteann Cup win in July are believed to have got the nod.
RTÉ pundit, Dolan is considered to be the county's greatest ever forward and was Westmeath’s all-time top Championship scorer until John Heslin took that record.
