Two MPs were ordered to leave the House of Commons amid chaotic scenes. The two MPs had to be escorted out after Speaker Lindsay Hoyle struggled to regain control of the Commons.
They were Alba MP Neale Hanvey and colleague Kenny McAskill. The Speaker shouted at them to "sit down" and both were given warnings that if they "failed to comply with my order" they will be named and could be suspended from the house. He then named both and told them to leave the chamber and told the Serjeant at Arms to remove them.
The pair, it is being reported, were shouting about a Scottish independence referendum. The two were told to sit down by the Speaker when ordered so Boris Johnson could begin taking questions in his first Prime Minister's Questions since announcing he would resign.
Ogmore MP Chris Elmore said: "Absolutely jaw-dropping start to #PMQs. Members kicked out of the chamber, Tory MPs singing the praises of the PM - despite having no confidence in them - & a PM seemingly doing a victory lap. But one thing remains constant. This UK Tory Govt should move aside for @UKLabour."
