Two Motorcyclists Try to Rob Another Motorcyclist at Gunpoint, Other Bike Is Faster

Like Fight Club, there are rules to thievery.

First, you don't ever talk about your thievery. That one is shared with Fight Club. But there's also a second rule, something Fight Club doesn't have: Always have the faster vehicle. At least if you're going to use it to A) get away from the cops, or B) use it to commit thievery on the fly. And that last one is important as you don't want to try and rob someone only for them to just, you know, throttle-out and away.

But that's exactly what happened when two would-be motorcycle thieves attempted to rob at gunpoint another motorcyclist while riding only for their prey to just peace out without a care in the world. Check the video out below.

I'm not exactly sure where this occurred, though it doesn't appear it's in the States. But the would-be thieves' actions are pretty comical. They pull up to the second motorcycle like hot shit, whip out a pistol ready to threaten the dude on the sportbike, and then the guy just throttles up like nothing.

From the video, he clearly sees what's about to go down to his left in his mirrors. But instead of looking over, he just grabs a fistful of gas, leaving the two scrambling to try and keep up. They obviously can't or maybe won't, as the lone rider is fully ATGATT and these two schmucks are out here without even a balaclava or bank-robber-special knit beanie. I mean, are you two even serious thieves?

At one point, you hear the would-be robbers yell out "slow down!" but those are the words of a desperate, and slower, man. The pair of slow-pokes try and stick with the faster motorcycle only for them to finally give up, allowing the rider to escape their clutches and gun.

But let that be a lesson for all aspiring thieves: Start with a faster motorcycle.
