Two teenagers have been charged in connection with an alleged transphobic attack in north-west London.
The charges come after an 18-year-old transgender girl was stabbed in Masons Avenue, Wealdstone, around 7pm on February 10.
The victim is said to have been attending a rollerskating party in Harrow with friends when she was reportedly attacked by a group and subjected to transphobic slurs.
Four people have already been charged in connection with the attack, in which the girl is said to have suffered 14 stab wounds.
Shiloh Hindes, 18, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with attempted murder, the Met police said in an update on Friday.
He appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot legally be named due to his age, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with grievous bodily harm.
He appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court the next day.
Both teens will both appear in custody at the Old Bailey on Friday, April 5, along with the four other teenagers who have already been charged over the attack.
Summer Betts-Ramsey, 19, was arrested on February 11 and charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
A 16-year-old girl was arrested on February 28 and charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, robbery, and possession of cannabis.
A 17-year-old boy was on March 7 charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, disclosing sexual images, and threatening the victim with a knife in a private place.
A second 17-year-old boy was charged on March 8 with grievous bodily harm with intent.
