For nearly two weeks in May, the Wagatha Christie trial captivated the nation, and we're still waiting for its explosive conclusion two months on.
Grenade after grenade was thrown by the WAGs' respective teams, as Coleen, 36, and Rebekah's legal battle played out at the Royal Courts of Justice, each trying to land a fatal 'gotcha' blow.
New insights about the Rooneys' marriage were revealed, Peter Andre's manhood got dragged into the proceedings and the court heard about a mysterious celebrity love triangle.
After the famous mums walked into court each day, their expensive outfits later dissected by fashion aficionados, bombshell after bombshell was dropped in the courtroom.
The saga started in October 2019 when Coleen accused Jamie Vardy's wife of leaking 'false stories' about her private life, from her personal Instagram account.
Rebekah denies the allegation and took Coleen to court for libel, with the trial starting on May 10 this year and ending on May 19.
Nearly two months later and both women, who each took the stand during the trial, have yet to see a resolution to the saga, with no date set for Mrs Justice Steyn to hand down her judgement.
However both Coleen and Rebekah have been keeping busy this summer, with the Rooneys missing the last day of the trial to go to Dubai with their four sons, and their barrister apologising to the judge for their absence.
On her Instagram Coleen shared a series of sweet snaps of the family's trip, which included swimming with dolphins and relaxing on the beach.
After returning from their getaway, Coleen and footballing legend Wayne posed with Ed Sheeran, as they hung out with the superstar backstage at one of his concerts.
At the end of last month Coleen and Wayne were also spotted taking a stroll along the beach while on holiday in Ibiza.
Last week, the pair's eldest son Kai, 12, joined his parents at Wimbledon, with Coleen sharing two snaps from the day on her Instagram, including a smiling selfie or herself and Wayne.
It's been a busy summer for Wayne in terms of his career, as on Monday he arrived in the US ready to sign on as manager of his old MLS club.
Coleen has previously said she was homesick while living over the pond when they moved in 2018 and that she would often cry herself to sleep.
This time around, it's expected that she will stay in Blighty with their children.
Like Coleen, Rebakah also had a family break in the sun after the trial.
In June, the mum-of-five treated her Instagram fans to snaps of her holiday abroad as she spent some quality time with husband and children in an idyllic-looking beach setting.
Dubbing her family "my island crew", Rebekah revealed to her 412,000 followers how she and her kids have been soaking up the sun and enjoying activities and "adventures" such as snorkelling and bike riding.
"Having the best adventures with my island crew [Island emoji. Love heart emoji]," the star captioned a snap of herself and one of her daughters.
In June, Rebekah also took to Instagram to pay tribute to Jamie on Father's Day, thanking the Leicester City footballer for "everything you do for us" and hail him as the most "incredible daddy".
