Britain is set to fall silent for two minutes shortly before noon on the day of the late Queen's funeral.
A period of silence lasting two minutes will be signalled in Westminster Abbey at around 11.55am on Monday September 19, shortly before the Queen's coffin will be carried out on its way to her resting place at Windsor Castle's St George's Chapel, where she will be buried alongside her late husband, Prince Philip.
"At around 11.55am the Last Post will sound, followed by two minutes of silence to be observed in the Abbey and throughout the UK," Press Association writes in an update about what will happen on the day of the funeral.

The two minutes of silence will be followed by the national anthem and a lament from the Queen's piper. The service is due to begin at 11am and will finish around noon.
Brits also have the chance to take part in a period of silence on Sunday Setember 18.
The Cabinet Office says: "The National Moment of Reflection will take place at 8pm on Sunday 18 September, the night before the State Funeral, and be marked by a one-minute silence.
"The silence can be marked privately at home, with friends and family, out on doorsteps or the street with neighbours, or at locally arranged community events and vigils."
