Police were called to a Co-Op store in Bristol after two men 'threatened' staff before fleeing the scene with a number of items on Saturday morning.
The St Annes branch of the store in Wyatts View was temporarily closed after the incident occurring at around 7.40am on Saturday, March 5. Police are investigating the robbery in which 'a number' of items were taken from the shop.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said in a statement: “We’re investigating following a robbery at Co-Op on Wyatts View, Bristol which happened shortly before 7.40am this morning. Two men threatened staff before making off with a number of items."

One eyewitness said they could not see any damage to the store in relation to the incident.
A handwritten sign taped outside of the store read: "Sorry we're closed until further notice."
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to phone 101 and provide the call handler with the reference 5222053148.
