Two men suffer facial injuries following attack at Lakota

Two men were left requiring treatment after suffering facial injuries during a brutal assault at Lakota nightclub in Bristol. One man required emergency dental treatment and the incident is being treated as grievous bodily harm.

A second man was also head-butted at the venue and was treated in hospital for common assault level facial injuries. The assaults both happened at approximately 2am on Sunday, February 6 on the club's main dancefloor.

CCTV images have been released by Avon and Somerset Police to try and identify two men wanted in connection with the assaults. It is believed that may be linked to the investigation.

The first man is described as white, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, between 5ft 10ins and 6ft 1ins tall and of medium build. He had dark hair with a fade and stubble/short beard.

He is wanted by officers to talk about the first assault where a man was punched in the face which resulted in needing emergency dental treatment. This assault is being treated as grievous bodily harm.

The second man is wanted in relation to the assault of the male who was head-butted. The victim was treated at the hospital for common assault level facial injuries.

The offender for this assault is also described as white, aged in his mid-20s and about 6ft tall. He had dark hair with a fade and some facial hair while he wore a black and white checked shirt.

Anyone who has any information that could help identify either male is being asked to call 1010 and provide the call handler with the reference 5222030093.
