Two men were taken to hospital after violence erupted in the centre of a Lanarkshire town on Sunday afternoon.
Police and paramedics were called to Rutherglen Main Street following a "disturbance" near the popular Vogue bar.
The men assaulted are believed to be Celtic fans celebrating their team's victory over Rangers just hours earlier in the Old Firm match.
Witnesses have told Lanarkshire Live the street was "swarming with police", while two men were seen lying on the ground as friends looked over them.
Social media posts later claimed one of those injured was treated in hospital for a bleed on the brain, however, this has not yet been confirmed by the authorities.
Police Scotland are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
