Two men were hospitalised with injuries over the weekend after a gang allegedly broke into their home in broad daylight in Co Wicklow.
The terrifying aggravated burglary took place on Saturday afternoon, according to gardai, and saw several men force their way into a property at The Links, Arklow, Co Wicklow.
Two men - one in his 30s and the other in his 40s - were in the home at the time of the incident and had to be transferred to St. Vincent’s Hospital for treatment.

Gardai are now looking to speak with anyone who was in the Dock Road and Abbeylands area of Arklow between 1pm and 2pm who may have noticed anything which could be related to this incident.
They are particularly keen that anyone who may have camera footage from the area (including dash-cam) to make this available to investigating gardai.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Arklow Garda station at 0402 32304, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
A garda spokesman said officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward. He told Dublin Live: "They are keen to speak to anyone who was in the Dock Road / Abbeylands Hill area of Arklow, from 1-2 pm yesterday who may have witnessed anything to come forward.
"They are particularly keen that anyone who may have camera footage from this area at this time (including dash-cam) make this available to investigating gardai.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Arklow Garda station on 0402 32304, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station."
