Two people have been charged with murder, two months after a man was found dead on a central Queensland road with a gunshot wound to the neck.
Local Anuisha Bone, 34, was discovered at Norman Gardens outside Rockhampton about 4am in November.
Two Rockhampton men - aged 26 and 33 - have now been charged with murder over the shooting.
They had been in Capricornia Correctional Facility since November on other matters, police said.
Police described the investigation as "difficult" but thanked people who came forward to help.
"When we started this investigation, detectives promised to leave no stone unturned," Detective Superintendent Darrin Shadlow said.
"This result could've only been achieved through the hard work and dedication of our local detectives, as well as our other specialist areas."
Police seized 12 unlawful firearms as part of their investigation, Det Shadlow said.
The two men charged with murder are expected to face a Rockhampton court on Wednesday.
