A second man has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of Ruka Carlson at a popular Melbourne nightclub strip over the Easter long weekend.
In the early hours of Easter Sunday, 30-year-old Carlson was allegedly chased before he was stabbed and kicked multiple times outside of Electric Bar on Chapel Street, Prahan.
The father of six was treated by paramedics at the scene, but he tragically died on the way to the hospital.

As investigations into the incident continue, Victoria Police have since confirmed they’ve arrested and charged a second man in relation to the stabbing.
On Thursday night, authorities arrested a 20-year-old Kurunjang man in Melton. He was then interviewed by police and charged with one count of murder.
He is set to face Melbourne’s Magistrates’ Court later today.

The 20-year-old’s arrest comes days after a 35-year-old Lidcombe man was arrested at Melbourne Airport.
The 35-year-old was charged with one count of murder, affray and assault related offences. He is set to face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on September 4.
Police believe that all the parties involved were known to each other.
Investigations into the matter remain ongoing, and detectives are urging anyone with information on the incident to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
