Two men charged with attempted murder after 'stabbing' in Aberdeen

Two men have been charged with attempted murder after an alleged stabbing in Aberdeen. Police say a 46-year-old man was left with serious injuries after the incident at 1.15am on Thursday, 14 July.

Emergency services rushed to the property on Hazlehead Road in the east of the city and the man was taken to hospital. Authorities say the victim's injuries have been described as serious but not life threatening by hospital staff.

A 55 and 44-year-old man have since been arrested and are due to appeal at Aberdeen Sheriff's court later today.

A Police Scotland statement said: "Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged attempted murder at a property on Hazlehead Road in Aberdeen.

"A 46-year-old man suffered stab wounds during the incident, which happened around 1.15am on Thursday, 14 July.

"His injuries are serious but not considered life threatening.

"The two men, aged 55 and 44, are both expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today."
