TWO men have been arrested and charged after the theft of a vehicle which crashed into a police car in the Highlands.
The pair, aged 29 and 42, are expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday. It comes after police received a report of the theft of a silver Subaru Forester from the Cambrai Court area of Dingwall at around 5.10pm on Sunday. A short time later, a report was received of the same vehicle being driven dangerously on the A82 south of Inverness. Officers attended, however the car failed to stop and a pursuit took place.
The car collided with one of the police vehicles before coming to a stop near Dunain.
