Two men have been arrested after a teenager was stabbed on an east London high street.
Police were called to a stabbing on High Street South in Newham just before 1pm on Wednesday.
An 18-year-old man was treated at the scene and rushed to hospital.
The Met Police said it did not believe his injuries were life-threatening and two men have been arrested and remain in custody.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to the scene of a stabbing on High Street South, Newham, at 12:59hrs on Wednesday, 29 February.
“The victim, a man aged 18, was treated at the scene and taken to hospital. His injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
“Two men have been arrested and remain in police custody.
“A crime scene is in place while further investigations are carried out. High Street South, from Central Park Road to Barking Road, therefore remains closed.”
