Two men have been arrested following an attempted robbery in Dublin 6W last night.
The incident happened near Harold's Cross at around 9:25pm, when two men entered the premises with a knife and demanded cash from staff. The duo were unable to gain access to the tills and subsequently left the scene.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported. Gardai identified two suspects shortly after and arrested them nearby on the Lower Kimmage Road.

A garda spokesman said: "The men, both aged in their 30s, were later taken to Rathmines Garda Station. Investigations ongoing."
