Two Lanarkshire roads closing for five days of carriageway resurfacing work

Two roads in Coatbridge will be shut for five days from January 31 for the completion of carriageway resurfacing work.

Aisla Road, between Barra Avenue and Dundonald Crescent, and Bankhead Place, from Bankhead Avenue to its termination are the roads affected.

There will be no alternative routes during the latter closure, while Barra Avenue, Croy Road and Brownshill Avenue will act as diversions during the former.

And Caldercruix’s Craigsmill Wynd will close from 9.30am to 6pm on February 2, between Fernbrae Path and Crossrigg Court, for manhole works by Scottish Water.

Motorists are warned there will be no diverted routes on offer during the closure.
