A man in his 20s is in hospital after he was was injured in an attack in east London.
Police and the air ambulance were scrambled to Stansgate Road, Dagenham at 1.40pm on Tuesday.
The air ambulance landed in Heath Park, next to the crime scene.
Two men were found with injuries but the second victim declined hospital treatment.
The Met Police have said that they were called to reports of a fight with a man in his 20s found suffering a head injury. A man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH.
A Met statement said: “Police were called at 13:38hrs on Tuesday, 18 June to reports of an altercation involving a group of men in Stansgate Road, Dagenham.
“Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service and found a man in his 20s with a head injury and another man, also in his 20s, with minor injuries. The man with the head injury was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening.
“One person has been arrested on suspicion of GBH in connection with the incident.
“A crime scene remains in place while enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
A London Ambulance Service statement said: “We were called at 1.40pm on Tuesday 18 June to reports of an incident on Stansgate Road, Dagenham. We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, paramedics in fast response cars and London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated one patient at the scene before taking him to hospital. Another patient declined our aid.”
