Two men have been rushed to hospital following an alleged murder bid on a Scots street.
Emergency services raced to Neil Avenue in Irvine, North Ayrshire, after the alarm was raised at around 6.05pm on Saturday, April 23.
An air ambulance team attended the scene and two men, aged 37 and 38, were taken to hospital for treatment.
The incident is understood to have been an alleged blade attack.
Police Scotland have launched a probe into the alleged incident, which they are treating as attempted murder.
A 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection with attempted murder which happened at Neil Avenue, Irvine at around 6.05pm on Saturday, April 23.
"Two men aged 37 and 38 were taken to hospital for treatment.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
