Two people are in hospital after a bus and a van crashed on a busy road in Liverpool.
Merseyside Police were called to Stanley Road at the junction of Baliol Road near Hugh Baird College in Bootle at around 3pm. Once officers arrived at the scene they found a bus and a silver Ford Transit Van had crashed on the road.
The driver of the van was taken to hospital for a medical assessment and a woman who was on the bus suffered a minor injury and was also told to go to hospital.

Traffic monitoring service INRIX said Stanley road is partially blocked at the junction of Baliol Road. Merseyside Police added that emergency services were at the scene "as a safety precaution".
A spokesperson from the force said: "At around 3pm this afternoon (Monday, May 9) we received a report of a collision on Stanley Road in Bootle involving a bus and a silver Ford Transit Van. The driver of the van has been taken to hospital for a medical assessment.
"Emergency services are currently at the scene as a safety precaution."
