Two of the city's most popular cocktail bars are in with a chance of being crowned the best in the country.
Yesterday, the prestigious Scottish Bar & Pub Awards 2022 unveiled their list of finalists having received thousands of public votes.
The Scottish Bar & Pub Awards, which is now in its 27th year is dubbed the 'hospitality Oscars' and aims to celebrate Scotland’s licensed trade. The awards also look to celebrate rising stars in the industry, community-led initiatives and give a much-needed boost to those championing the late-night economy.

Every finalist has been voted for by the public and people in the trade and will have been visited by mystery shoppers.
Competing in The Busker Cocktail Bar of the Year category this year is The Absent Ear, which just a few months ago landed the distinction of being named one of the UK's top 50 cocktail bars.

And joining them is a Glasgow east end favourite, The Gate, on the city's Gallowgate.
The 'modern Scottish pub' has been a huge hit with Glaswegians since opening opposite the Barrowlands back in 2019.
The final four list is completed by Cocktail Mafia in Edinburgh and Troon's Lido.
The Scottish Bar & Pub Awards 2022 will announce all category winners at a glitzy award ceremony on August 30th.
Speaking about this year's awards, organiser Susan Young commented: “The votes are in and verified and the time is nearly here to celebrate the best of the best at The Scottish Bar & Pub Awards 2022.
