Two Germany stars in heated training clash just days before Scotland Euros opener

Over 4000 punters are believed to have witnessed Germany's pre-Euro 2024 preparations descend into chaos.

The host nation welcomed fans in for an open training session as anticipation reaches fever-pitch ahead of Friday's tournament opener against Scotland at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

But it went from all smiles to two key stars getting involved in an altercation with one another four days before the curtain-raiser.

German news outlet Bild report Antonio Rudiger and Niclas Fullkrug "almost came to blows" following an altercation during a crossing exercise.

Füllkrug was not happy with Rüdiger after a strong tackle had him lying on the floor.

The Borussia Dortmund striker got up, went towards the Real Madrid defender and they pushed each other.

And it’s claimed that Füllkrug then shouted at German coach Mads Buttgereit to "blow the whistle already”.

A bewildered Rüdiger asked for a drinks break but upon its conclusion both players were "still upset".

Fullkrug is thought to have stormed past Rudiger and assistant Sandro Wagner "angrily" once again before the session ended.
