Two firms agree lettings at Bristol’s Aztec West Business Park

Two firms have agreed lettings at Bristol’s Aztec West Business Park.

Norwegian weather analytics firm StormGeo and Dutch group Yonder, a global operator and developer of offices, have become the latest businesses to join the 68-hectare site in Almondsbury, which is home to more than 120 companies.

StormGeo has taken a 10-year lease on a 2,600 sq ft industrial warehouse while Yonder will occupy a 3,100 sq ft unit for five years.

Property management firm Langtree added two other units at the site totalling a combined space of 11,000 sq ft were also under offer.

Jonathan McIlhinney, property manager at Langtree, said: “As a prime logistics distribution location, Aztec West Business Park has become a sought-after destination for firms looking for high-quality and well-connected space that provides easy access to Bristol city centre and the wider region.

“We are delighted to welcome StormGeo and Yondr Group, both leaders in their respective fields, to the park.”

Cushman and Wakefield advised Langtree on both lettings. The real estate firm said demand for UK logistics and industrial space soared to new heights in 2021.

Research undertaken by the company found 70 million sq ft of occupier take up was recorded last year while the sector also attracted more than £17bn of investment - both of which set new annual records.

Ed Rohleder, a Senior Surveyor in Cushman & Wakefield’s UK Logistics & Industrial team, said: “While the race for space continues and the demand supply imbalance widens furthers, we have agreed new headline rents at Aztec West Business Park on behalf of Langtree.

“These two lettings, together with the space currently under offer, mean there will be no further vacancies within Langtree’s ownership on the business park.”
