Two drug peddlers and nine abusers were apprehended by the Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) here on Wednesday.
The team seized 120 grams of Hash oil and a mobile phone from the accused, Manekar Madhan (29), a lighting board worker from Nacharam, and N Raju (27), who runs a scrap business and a resident of Cherlapally.
Madhan’s partner Mansi was also arrested by the Hyderabad police last week on charges of supplying ganja to her clients in the IT corridor.
The abusers who were held are G. Trivikram Reddy (25), a test engineer at Infosys and resident of KPHB, M. Pavan Chandu (26), an accounts manager at Carwale (auto mobile) from Madhapur, M. Karthik (25), a process analyst at Capgemini, K. Bhanu Prakash (22), a degree student from Nacharam, S. Rajashekhar (25), a senior customer support representative in Sykes Business Services India Pvt. Ltd., K. Shadrach (19), a distributor in Any Times of Recharge Services and three others, DCP (H-NEW) Gummi Chakravarthy said.
