Two Doors Down viewers hail new episode as 'best one yet' due to spilt peas gag

A brand new episode of Two Doors Down dropped on BBC Two last night (November 23), and viewers are hailing it as the best one yet.

Anne Marie is introduced to the rest of the neighbours as Colin's new partner, but the gang are quickly surprised by her enthusiastic over-the-top approach to the dinner party. In a haphazard incident, Anne Marie spills a bowl of peas all over the floor - then uses the hoover to clear them up, discussing an intimate operation her son received all the while.

Viewers were doubled over watching the episode, as one Twitter user wrote: "Bloody love Two doors down "I will not be having guests picking up peas!"

And a third wrote: "We love two doors down as well. Last night's episode had some real laugh out loud moments. Just what was needed."

More comments read: "I'm still thinking about last night's #TwoDoorsDown the spilt peas and the Irish dancing."

Others said: "Best episode of #TwoDoorsDown yet!"

While one noted: "Me: I’m going to ration #TwoDoorsDown to one a week as per broadcast. Also me: 'Just one more!'"

And finally, one concluded: "Another glorious instalment of #TwoDoorsDown tonight. including the best ever comic use of garden peas. #SiobhanRedmond's ("She's f**king nuts isn't she") Anne-Marie is a work of genius. Cathy who?"

The next episode of Two Doors Down will air next Wednesday, November 30 at 10pm on BBC Two.
