Independent beer producer Camden Town Brewery is taking its most popular beers on tour this summer as it returns with its annual ‘Tank Party’. Following a successful debut last year, the beer event will stop off at six cities across the UK.
Stopping off at Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Bristol, Newcastle and returning to the home in Hells in London for its grand finale, the event brings fresh Unfiltered Hells Lager directly from the brewery in Camden straight to lager lovers. Poured straight from the tanks, they’ll be serving up 125HL - 23,000 pints - over the course of the tour.
Holly Gibson, Head of Brand Activations & Experiences at Camden Town Brewery, said: “After taking Tank Party across the country for the very first time last year, we were overwhelmed by the response and can’t wait to get back on the road for the 2022 Tank Party Tour. Working for a brewery, we get the awesome experience of drinking straight from the brewery tanks, the freshest beer you’ll ever try.
"That’s one of the reasons we started Tank Party 10 years ago, inviting Camden fans to share this experience with us by enjoying the freshest Unfiltered Hells direct from the tanks.“
The first stop on the tour is Manchester’s Freight Island this Friday, where Camden will also take over the taps to pour pints of their Pale Ale and Off Menu IPA as well. They’ve also teamed up with some of the venue’s new food vendors to offer a range of street food across the two days.
For those that head down, there’ll be chicken from Lucky Foot Chicken, slices from Voodoo Rays, authentic Mexican dishes from Madre Tacos and burgers by Burgerism. To keep the party vibe going Camden have also lined up a series of live artists and DJs to keep crowds entertained with a selection of electro, disco and funk tunes.
To round-off the experience, Camden will also be putting on a host of creative workshops and activities. As with the Leeds, Bristol, Liverpool and Newcastle put stops, the Tank Party in Manchester will be free to attend, but make sure to register your interest here .
The Camden Tank Party stops off in Manchester on June 24-25 at Escape to Freight Island.
