Two changes to Man City's Premier League fixture schedule as games selected for TV coverage

Two Manchester City games in the opening weeks of the Premier League season have had their kick-off times altered after being selected to be shown on TV.

City are aiming to secure their sixth league title in the space of seven years and retain their crown when the new top-flight season begins in August. Pep Guardiola's side added the FA Cup and the Champions League to their Premier League crown last season to secure an incredible Treble.

City's maiden game of the new campaign has already been moved and will be shown live on Sky Sports. Their first Premier League game sees them travel to Burnley on Friday, August 11.

The Premier League has now announced TV selections for gameweeks two to seven, which takes the top flight to the start of October. Two City games have been picked for broadcast.

The Etihad Stadium clash against Newcastle United remains on Saturday, August 19, but will now kick off at 8pm. The match will be shown live on TNT Sports.

And the following weekend, City's trip to Bramall Lane to take on Sheffield United will now take place on Sunday, August 27, at 2pm. This game will be shown live on Sky Sports.

No further City games have been chosen throughout September and that means the rest of their matches up to the start of October will be 3pm Saturday kick-offs. These include a home game against Fulham on September 2, an away game against West Ham at the London Stadium on September 16, a home clash with Nottingham Forest on September 23 and a trip to Wolves on September 30.
