A two car smash has taken place on the A1 near Wallyford tonight (March 25) causing delays in both directions.
The incident took place around 8pm on Friday evening and causing traffic travelling from Tranent towards Edinburgh to come to a standstill.
Traffic is now moving again in both lanes but delays are expected, the two vehicles involved will be cleared by emergency services within the next hour.
Traffic Scotland said: "UPDATE 20:15 #A1 Partially blocked N/B at Wallyford due to an RTC
"Traffic slowing on the approach."

Police Scotland confirmed they attended the scene and both vehicles involved are currently being removed. It is understood there were no serious injuries and the driver involved is in shock.
