Two men have been arrested after allegedly displaying a flag with a swastika in Sydney's Kings Cross.

Police were called to a hotel on Liverpool Street on Thursday afternoon following reports of a man with the flag.

A short time later the 51-year-old and another man aged 44 were arrested nearby and taken to Kings Cross Police Station.

The flag and several electronic devices were seized.

Inquiries into the incident are continuing.
