Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found collapsed in the street. North Wales Police said they attended a lane near Cefn Road in Wrexham at around 6:42am on Monday, June 12, alongside the Welsh Ambulance Service.
A man was taken to hospital where he later died. He has now been named as 59-year-old John Ithell who lived in Pentre Gwyn, Wrexham. Two men from the Wrexham area are being questioned in connection with his death.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "At 6:42am on Monday, June 12, we were made aware of a report a man had collapsed on a lane adjacent to Cefn Road, Wrexham. Officers attended the scene, along with colleagues from the Welsh Ambulance Service. A man was taken to hospital, where he later sadly died. John Ithell (59) lived in Pentre Gwyn, Wrexham. His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
