Two Aldi products have beaten Tesco, Lidl, Morrisons and more in a test by comparison site Which?
Last month the budget retailer was named the UK's best supermarket after Which? surveyed more than 3,000 people, beating the likes of Marks and Spencer, Lidl and Tesco to take the top spot.
Now, Aldi has beaten off competition from rival supermarkets when it comes to two of its cleaning products.
Aldi has earned two Which? 'Best Buy' accolades for its own label dishwashing products, beating big name brands including Fairy and Ecover, as well as own-brand items by Tesco and Morrisons.

In a comparison test of dishwasher tables, Aldi's Magnum Original All in One Dishwasher Tables were beaten only by Fairy Platinum Plus All in One Lemon. But they scored higher than Fairy Original All in One, Tesco’s All in One Lemon and Morrisons All in One Original.
In tests, the Aldi tablets achieved a maximum of five stars for removing tea stains and tough grease, for £0.07 per wash.
Aldi's Magnum Premium Original Washing Up Liquid also beat many rival products, after being pipped to the number one slot only by Fairy Antibacterial Eucalyptus. The Aldi liquid scored higher than Lidl W5 Platinum, Fairy Platinum Quickwash, Morrisons Power Burst, Tesco Original and other products.
