A lot of Georgia fans may be upset that one of the Bulldogs’ top pass catchers, Adonai “A.D.” Mitchell, has entered the transfer portal. For the second straight season, one of Georgia’s most talented receivers has entered the transfer portal after winning a national championship.
Adonai Mitchell will be missed, but Georgia fans should remember the great moments from his career and not dwell on the negative. The Bulldogs are back-to-back national champions and it does not get much better than that.

Has UGA known Mitchell would transfer for a while?
Kirby Smart and Georgia added Missouri All-SEC wide receiver Dominic Lovett and Mississippi State wide receiver Rara Thomas via the transfer portal back in December.
With the emphasis on a WR in the portal, despite all UGA had coming back, makes me believe the staff knew of AD's intentions for a while.
We'll never know if UGA would have two NC's without his 2 catches, but we know they have them. That's enough not to be bitter about transfer.

The Dawgs have won back-to-back national championships. If Texas is paying Mitchell more via name, image and likeness, then the fans should consider: if you were offered a higher paying job would you stay or go?
