Twitter reacts to Titans selecting OT Nicholas Petit-Frere

The Tennessee Titans addressed one of their needs along the offensive line in the third round of the 2022 NFL draft when they selected Ohio State offensive tackle, Nicholas Petit-Frere.

The 6-foot-5, 316-pound lineman played at both right and left tackle during his days with the Buckeyes. In 2021, he was the starter on the left side, but before that he was the right tackle in 2020.

As far as what the plan with Petit-Frere (we’ll call him NPF to make things easier) is, that remains to be seen.

It’s possible he could be the solution on the right side in 2022, which would allow 2021 second-round pick Dillon Radunz to play at left guard, where many believe he’ll ultimately end up in the NFL.

However, there are some out there who believe NPF will need time to develop, thus a starting role likely isn’t in the cards for him in 2022.

If that’s the case, the plan might be for NPF to be the future replacement for left tackle Taylor Lewan, who will be in the final year of his deal in 2023 and would be a potential cap casualty.

For now, questions are abound about the newest Titans offensive lineman, something that was apparent in the Twitter reaction.
