If the Houston Texans are going to saddled up quarterback Davis Mills, they may as well supply him with weapons.
The Texans moved up to No. 44 overall in Round 2 of the 2022 NFL draft to select former Alabama receiver John Metchie. There are some question marks regarding Metchie as he recovers from an ACL tear sustained in the penultimate game of the 2021 season as the Crimson Tide battled Georgia in the SEC Championship Game in December.
Dr. Lyle Cain, the Alabama team doctor, is confident Metchie will return to normal, but it still remains to be seen.
