Ohio State football has struggled mightily with the lowly Northwestern Wildcats, but there have been a few interesting topics to monitor including the fact that former Heisman frontrunner, C.J, Stroud has been forced to make things happen with his legs.
Whether it be due to the weather or the squad is just sleepwalking, it doesn’t matter the Buckeyes have looked terrible and for the first time in his career, Stroud has more rushing yards than passing yards in a game. Despite this game making me so very scared for what Michigan has in store, I want to provide you with some of the more unique Twitter responses to Stroud’s 44-yard carry.
The Run
And all the fans that have been calling for C.J. Stroud to run more rejoiced. Here he goes 44 yards to set up a 2 yard score from Miyan Williams. Ohio State goes up 21-7 late. #GoBucks https://t.co/yfU658cNum

Sarcasm
"Ryan, is CJ running *too* much?"

That's a long time
CJ Stroud has rushed for more yards than he's thrown for in a game as a starter for the first time since the fourth grade.

Oh, the memories
Shades of the 2020 Michigan State game as C.J. Stroud runs for a 44-yard gain.

Enough to elevate his handicap?
Despite the 48-yard TD run against MSU in his Ohio State debut, C.J. Stroud came into the day with 24 career rushing yards on 52 carries.
He's got 79 yards on six carries today against NW.

It's about just getting the win baby
Ohio State just ran a designed QB run for C.J. Stroud. Pulling out all the stops.

It was a weird day all-around
C.J. Stroud having his worst passing game ever, yet *arguably* helped his draft stock by showing some ability to run.
That’s crazy.

He speaks the truth
as unbelievable as this first half has been, that C.J. Stroud run might be the most unbelievable.

He has a point
If C.J Stroud would just run the ball our offense would be so much more dynamic 😒
