The Ohio State Buckeyes are beating the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, 21-7, and although the game has started sloppy for Ohio State, the offense is moving and grooving. With Jaxon Smith-Njigba out another week, the receiving corps has had to step up and the most notable benefactor is Julian Fleming.
Fleming’s Ohio State career took a bit longer to develop than most expected, but he is proving in 2022 why he was such a highly rated recruit. Fleming has two receptions on the day for 35 yards and a touchdown. We still have more than 10 minutes to go in the second quarter, and it seems Fleming is in the groove to have a big day.
