The Minnesota Vikings made the decision to trade down 20 picks with the Detroit Lions in the 2022 NFL draft. When it happened, there were a lot of detractors due to trading with a division rival and the fact that it was for explosive wide receiver Jameson Williams.
Going into Sunday’s game, it was a huge talking point and storyline. On the Lions second drive, Williams not only caught his first pass in the National Football Leauge, but it was a touchdown.

Needless to say both allowing a touchdown to Williams and it being on a blown coverage had Vikings fans furious and they went to Twitter to voice their displeasure.
Once again, I’m back with my snap film reviews, this time with Jameson Williams’ touchdown. Hope this helps. pic.twitter.com/zPTKXV3lPe

Bynum had a bunch of mistakes being just a little too aggressive coming down from a deep alignment and decided to clean it up by playing even more aggressive and just leaving the deep middle wide open

Jameson Williams was a guy we knew was gonna make an impact. Not sure Ed got that memo

So in regards to that Jamo touchdown, one of the biggest themes I’ve seen from the Vikings defense this year is miscommunications and busts.
The scheme itself is fine, but there’s something going on over there where the players just constantly break down in comms.
Huge problem.
