The Los Angeles Rams made a splash in free agency with the signing of former Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson. It’s a three-year deal worth $45 million for Robinson, which includes $30 million guaranteed.
Robinson spent the past four seasons with the Bears, where he’s been their most consistent offensive player. He put up back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in 2019 and 2020 in one of the league’s worst offenses. Now, imagine what he can do in the Rams’ offense.
As you can imagine, the general reaction to Robinson joining the Rams was shock as he joins a loaded receiving corp. led by Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods and Van Jefferson. Los Angeles continues to load up as they look to repeat as Super Bowl champions.
Most Bears fans wished nothing but the best for Robinson, who’s now in the best situation of his entire career — NFL or college. With Robinson’s departure, Chicago could see as high as a third-round compensatory pick, assuming they see another compensatory free agent depart.
