Twitter reacts to Broncos’ beautiful throwback uniform vs. Chiefs

The Denver Broncos are breaking out their beautiful throwback uniform in a must-win game against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18.

The Broncos announced their full uniform schedule before the 2024 season began, and the team fittingly chose a fan-favorite look for their regular season finale.

The 1977-inspired throwback uniform is by far the team’s most popular uniform, both among fans in Denver and among fans of other NFL teams.

Here is a sampling of how fans and pundits reacted to the Broncos’ throwback uniform for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.

NFL teams are allowed to wear a throwback or alternate uniform up to three times per year. Earlier this season, Denver wore its throwback look in a 34-18 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5. The Broncos later wore their alternate uniform in a 41-32 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 13.

Sunday will mark the final time we see Denver’s throwback uniform until next season. The Broncos’ 2025 schedule of opponents will be finalized today. Denver needs a win (or tie) today to make the NFL playoffs.
