Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix made his (preseason) debut against the Indianapolis Colts in a 34-30 win on Sunday.
Nix went 15-of-21 passing for 125 yards with one touchdown and no turnovers. Nix also rushed three times for 17 yards and was not sacked. Here’s a sampling of how Twitter/X reacted to the performance.

The offense is just more dynamic with Bo Nix Legs

Real talk. Is one Bo Nix jersey enough??

Great stuff from Bo Nix today. Clinical underneath. Kept the offense on schedule.
He wasn't perfect, but 15/21 for 125 yards and a TD is more than you could have hoped for.

Avoided sacks, was effective in the red zone and on third down, and put points on the board 💪 https://t.co/DY3z4EOwbb

This is so clean
And you just know they are going to add some QB power wrinkles off of this as well to give those back 7 guys more to think about
Looking forward to what the goal to go can look like w Nix given his combo of quick release and a power sturdy athletic frame https://t.co/t8Q4qhxJJ9

Make Bo Nix the starter. It’s clear
— Zach Segars (@Zach_Segars) August 11, 2024
Nix looked about as good as could have been hoped
Denver was able to dictate fairly well with the run game & set up advantageous looks but Nix looked poised and in control, his arm looked live with a REALLY nice quick motion, and a nice mix of passes off of diff looks
Exciting https://t.co/LVDQY9N9TQ

Absolutely cooked the Colts.. looked incredibly comfortable https://t.co/rrS8OFk6Nj

Bo Nix was the most efficient QB in his draft class because of his ability to process complex schemes with ease and the QUICK RELEASE you see on this TD throw. He showed that going 15/21 for 125 yards with 4 scoring drives in his preseason debut and his creativity too.

I promise you that Sean Payton is downright giddy with excitement over Bo Nix’s play. https://t.co/3wP4siy5Ld

It's pretty clear. leaning on Bo Nix's athleticism will be a part of this #broncos offense. Letting him use his legs to carry the football and running the RPO game to keep teams off balance.

Bo Nix showing exactly what I thought would. The stage is not too big. He is not mentally overwhelmed. And his accuracy and athleticism are intriguing. There's no reason for him not start on Sept. 8. He's 24 with 61 college starts. He can handle this in a season with low…

Bo Nix has to start day one. Let’s not forget his age. He’s more than mature enough. And has the almost pro hours of playing time under his belt.

The TD is the perfect example.
If you get the look you want on the boundary, rip it. If not, feed the running back.
RPOs make the game easy for a rookie quarterback, especially when that’s what they’re used to. pic.twitter.com/chasdhQlbi https://t.co/9Ch7uXTxjw

I've seen one Bo Nix series in a preseason game and I can confirm — without a shadow of a doubt — he should take the starting snap of the regular season.
The depth chart be damned.

Jarrett Stidham? Barely knew ‘im.

Nix will start next week vs. Packers.
Will be interesting to see if he's named the starter for the season, after that.

Nix is set to start the team’s second preseason game against the Green Bay Packers next week. After that, Denver will close out preseason against the Arizona Cardinals the following week. So far, so good for Nix.
