Baker Mayfield couldn’t have written it better himself. Heck, the best movie script writer couldn’t have, either.
In his first game with the Rams, two days after being claimed by the team, Mayfield led Los Angeles on a 98-yard game-winning drive against the Las Vegas Raiders at SoFi Stadium, capped off by a 23-yard touchdown to Van Jefferson.
Twitter immediately erupted after seeing Jefferson haul in that pass in the end zone, completing one of the most absurd comebacks you’ll ever see in football. Here’s how some folks on social media reacted to Mayfield’s storybook win over the Raiders.
