The Tennessee Titans suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 15 by a score of 17-14.
Tennessee found a way to score a game-tying touchdown with less than one minute to go, but Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert made magic happen at the end of the game, getting his team in field goal range to setup the game-winning field goal.
This was undoubtedly a deflating loss, and even more so when you consider the fact that the Jacksonville Jaguars won earlier in the day, decreasing the Titans’ division lead to just one game.
The Titans have now dropped four-straight games and have seen their once respectable 7-3 record plummet to .500 at 7-7 with just three games left.
As you would imagine, all of this combined has led to a deflated and defeated fanbase on Titans Twitter. Let’s take a closer look at some of the reactions following today’s gut-wrenching loss to the Chargers.

Todd Downing remains the worst OC in the league

That game was much closer than expected, which means the result is more painful too 😓

All of the #Titans woes can be blamed on Todd Downing and Dennis Daley.
— Vitale Talks (@TalksVitale) December 19, 2022
If Daley doesn’t give up a sack, we get 3 points and don’t give up great field position for them to score a TD. 🤦🏻♂️😥 Different ball game possibly. 🤬

The #Titans have not lost 4 games in a row since Ken Whisenhunt was the head coach.
— Lucas Panzica (@lucaspanzica) December 19, 2022
Titans deserve to lose this one and will almost certainly need to win in Jacksonville in Week 18 to salvage what should have been a cakewalk to a division title. Feels like this is going to end in disaster.

If Tannehill consistently takes a sack when the one thing you can’t do is take a sack, how about calling a play that gets rid of the ball quickly and virtually guarantees he won’t get sacked???

Last year was our year to win it all as the Titans. We all knew it. We got 7 more years until we actually do something worth note anymore. We wasted Derrick Henry’s best years on a QB who can barely throw 150 yards.
