The Jets surprised a few people with their selection of Iowa State edge Will McDonald at No. 15 in the 2023 NFL Draft. But it’s a good surprise because McDonald can add plenty of help on the edge for the Jets with his 34 career sacks at Iowa State. Here are a few reactions from Twitter on the pick.

I really like Will McDonald’s length and twitch. He’s super bendy and can become a very good pass rusher.
My issues are:
• #Jets already loaded at DE
• He’s 239, weird fit as 4-3 end
• He turns 24 in June (less room for growth)
