The Memphis Grizzlies may have narrowly lost their first NBA playoff match-up against the Golden State Warriors in heartbreaking fashion, but they definitely showed what they are capable of, definitely giving the former NBA championship team a run for their money in game one of the Western Conference semi-finals.
While everyone expected Ja Morant to explode for the Grizzlies, and he definitely did, it was Jaren Jackson Jr. who shocked viewers around the country, many of whom probably didn’t know the man called ‘Trips’ was capable of such an offensive outburst.
Jackson finished with 33 points on 6-for-9 shooting from three, to go along with 10 rebounds, a block and an assist. JJJ’s performance had the internet buzzing, from MSU alums, current players, and Memphis fans and media, and you can see the best reactions to his big game below.
