Twitter reaction to Jalen Ramsey-Dolphins trade from Patriots’ angle

New England Patriots fans are not happy about the Miami Dolphins trading for three-time All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey. It’s yet another superstar added to a roster that has quarterback Tua Tagovailoa throwing to Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle on offense.

And it only cost the Dolphins a third-round draft pick.

It doesn’t help matters that the Patriots actually traded away a 2023 third-round pick as part of a package deal to acquire wideout DeVante Parker, who could now end up matching against Ramsey twice during the regular season.

So it’s easy to understand how a blockbuster move of this caliber might feel like a punch in the gut. What are the Patriots going to do about it?

That’s the biggest question with the AFC East suddenly surging with the greatest arms race in football right now. Ramsey is headed to the Rams, the New York Jets are trying to swing a trade for legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Buffalo Bills are still loaded with offensive talent.

Meanwhile, the Patriots could be losing their leading receiver, Jakobi Meyers, and one of their best defensive players and team captain, Devin McCourty, is retiring. It feels like the sky is falling.

Here’s what people were saying on Twitter about Ramsey joining the Dolphins.
